1. My name is Ian Andrew Marten. You can call me Ian. I was born in Brunswick Maine in 1988. I grew up in a subarb of Milwaukee called Cedarburg. It was a fun place to live. I moved to Milwaukee to get an education which I'm currently working on.

2. I have a fascination with girls that wear brown and black together. I was told during my high school days that brown and black worn together doesn't work. That its a taboo of color arrangements. But I don't care. I love it (do I consider it my sexual fetish? well I don't have sex with clothes on so I'd say no)

3. Along with #2, I also am in love with Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (hence the title of this entry). She is a goddess. Watch her in the video for "Y Control" here is the link:

4. I am a strict practitioner of dieting. Not out of love of animals (which I do! I love animals) or health reasons (I'm not obese) but I just feel like I shouldn't eat so much. I read that hunger is a trait that humans (and pre-human species) have created because thousands of years ago food was scarce so hunger was created in order to eat as much as possible so that you wouldn't have to look for more food in the future.

5. I'm in a love-hate relationship with the United States of America.
